Memorandum submitted to SDM by office bearers of Indian Journalist Association ITWA unit for Press Bhawan
The meeting was organized in Itwa in the presence of State Spokesperson Hasim Rizvi, headed by the Indian Journalist Association, Itwa Tehsil President Dr. Jung Bahadur Chaudhary.
Officials of the Indian Journalist Association submitted a memorandum to SDM Itwa Utkarsh Srivastava regarding the allotment of land for the Press Building for journalists at Tehsil Headquarters.
A meeting of Itwa town journalists was presided over by Dr. Jung Bahadur Chaudhary, ITWA President of the Indian Journalist Association, during which one of the town’s senior journalists, while holding a minute’s silence. Tributes were paid to Anil Srivastava. Subsequently, after deliberating on the points, a memorandum was submitted to the Sub-Divisional Officer for allotment of land for the construction of the press building.
In his address, State Spokesperson Hashim Rizvi said that no arrangement has been made by the government so far for the sitting of journalists. There is no building to organize a meeting for journalists due to which the officials are facing a lot of problems. With the construction of the building, it will be easier to organize meetings and seminars and conferences etc. He urged the SDM to make arrangements for providing land for press buildings anywhere in Itwa town at the earliest.
During this period, State Journalist Hashim Rizvi, Tehsil President Dr. Jung Bahadur Chaudhary, Tehsil Patron Dr. Nisar Ahmad , Nandlal Soni, Pramod Bhatt, Riyaz Ahmed, Niyamatullah, Govindlal Maurya,. Naseem Ahmed, RK Sharma etc. were present during this period. .
